The Ways at 150 Congress Avenue was created through a partnership between Developers Collaborative and General Dynamics Bath Iron Works to help address the growing need for housing in the Midcoast region and support the workforce that powers Maine's shipbuilding industry.
Supported by funding from the U.S. Navy, the new community will provide 84 apartment homes in Bath, offering additional housing opportunities for Bath Iron Works employees, active-duty military personnel, civilian employees of the U.S. Navy, and the broader community for years to come.
Developers Collaborative, a Maine-based company with more than 35 years of experience creating and preserving communities across the state, is leading the development of The Ways. Once completed, the community will be professionally managed by DC Management, a subsidiary of Developers Collaborative, which oversees more than 1,200 apartment homes across Maine. DC Management will provide leasing, resident services, and day-to-day property management, ensuring The Ways remains a welcoming and well-maintained community for years to come.
